about

the spectre collector presents: Spectral Pastoral vol.2
(Recommended for fans of hauntology)

What is the Spectral Pastoral?

Spectral Pastoral: a term given to the half-lit world that reveals the disturbing bucolic atmospheres of haunted woods and fields, of holloways and hedgerows, of forests and old abandoned chapels, of bogs and beeches, oak and elm, the green man and the strange and dreadful things that happen in the countryside.

Spectral Pastoral: a place of curious disappearances, ghostly children, disturbing electrical charges in the air, where trees act as portals to forgotten places, where dark woodland paths are trodden by ancient beings, and queer secrets lie buried beneath lush green pastures.

What is it in this tranquil rural setting that shrieks your name in the night? What is it that calls you to dance over hills and meadows with things that should not exist?

Have you found your way into the half-lit world of the Spectral Pastoral?
