about

*** Well, this is the last in my series of five lunatic lockdown albums.
I’ve released an album a week for the last five weeks, each for little more than a dime.

TheBunkerTapes (die Bunkerbänder)

Audiotapes were discovered in the basement bunker of an abandoned German government facility. The tapes pertain to the secretive works of a small investigative science unit. Set up in the 1930s, the short-lived Department for Chaos and Cosmology existed for just under a year.

One thing is certain, the Department for Chaos and Cosmology was experimenting with things well outside the realm of ‘normal’ government guidelines.

Rumours tell of an extreme psychotic episode suffered by the department’s lead scientist Dr Günther König and the strange disappearance of a young lab technician, Greta Hoffmann.
Some say that specific ‘cosmic gateways’ were opened down in that bunker and that Ms Hoffmann was dragged through the gateway by an ultra-dimensional entity.

Did the Department for Chaos and Cosmology stumble upon something they should have left well alone? The strange mix of music and ‘noise’ on the tapes would suggest they did. No film footage survived, only these short ‘musical’ pieces taken from audiotapes.
